Port of entry questions while returning back to usa after a gap of 10 months

Hi @anil_am22/@Kalpesh_Dalwadi could you please help,

My wife went to India last year in June 2024 and took a break to take care of the family and now she wants to come back within next month or so. She still has H1B from previous employer with visa stamped valid for next 2 years so wanted to know if there’s a risk of more que getting asked at port of entry due to a gap of 10 months?

Also she needs to find a project after coming so is it safe to travel without a project? or get project first

I suggest to get a project first as she might be asked about the active work immediately on arrival to US with H1B status.
