My H1b extension was filed on 01/15 and we never received any confirmation on package received neither any email on Receipt numbe nor 797c.
Attrny refiled and send package again on 02/03 still no confirmation on package received neither any email on Receipt numbe nor 797c. my current i94 expiring 02/22 hence bit worried…is such a delay normal for Lockbox IL.
Has it been filed in premium?
Never heard attorney resending it.
Usually, if you send by FedEx, the delivery itself is a proof that you submitted it
Yeah it was send by Fedex both times and it was Premium in both the cases. I also had not encountered such delays evers… had Family issues so was in India hence the delay in first filing … do you know 1) if there is delay still in IL lockbox , heard there was in 2024 when fees were changed 2) also is there a Online filing available for 129 extension…was wondering why my attorney never tried that option…
@anil_am22 you were correct. Checked the first filing packet 01/15 Attorney has missed ACWIA fee check… in the second Premium filing 02/03 i see everything ok but still have not received email acknowledgement of package received
