My spouse went out of country from US while h4 visa extension approval still pending. Her EAD/AP decision was still pending that time. H4 approval came later when she was in India and came back to US. EAD was approved. But I131 did not get approve as she was out of the country. Does she needs to reapply I485 processing again ?
No. Denial of AP doesn’t impact AOS. If you want AP, reapply and make sure you dont leave the country until it is approved. If she is maintaining H4 status and will use H4 visa for future travel, you may not apply for AP.
