Reapply same Visa after its stamped "Cancelled without Prejudice"

Can I reapply for H1B stamping again on same valid H1B visa, after its stamped as “Cancelled Without Prejudice”?

I was working on H1B valid till May’25 in US and my company transferred me to Canada. While my family was still in US, hence to meet my family regularly, I applied for B1/B2 Visa. In the B1/B2 Interview, officer issued B1/B2 but affixed stamp of “Cancelled without prejudice” on my H1B visa saying that as you have moved out of US company he has to put this stamp.

Now after few months my US company wants me to come back to US and rejoin. Hence, I want to know, can I reapply DS160 for restamping on same H1B which was valid till May’25 (online it still shows approved), OR my employer have to refile a complete H1B petition?

Yes, you can apply a new H1B visa stamp using the same H1B i797
