Hi
Anil
I need one clarification the image which I attached have taken from a22mtech in this it is mentioned Victoria and Queensland what this meant
This means that Victoria and Queensland have this job code on their occupation list that they consider for inviting.
Does that means vic for 190 ?Btw, I didn’t see nsw in any of the 2544 job code.
Why? But NSW still have Registered nurses in their occupation list!!
Thanks
We need to update the list with state details.
Hi
Anil
The new point system to be introduced in November 2019 will effect the existing eoi s
They are planning to bring changes to 189 and 190 also?
Hi Anil,
In April, the cut off for 189 was 80 points. In this situation, will the state be giving 5 points to those with 75 points for 190 state nomination ?so that they can meet the cut off? Is it how 190 works?
No, that’s not how the system works.
State usually invite people with highest point in their job code and then if they approve your nomination, you will get to add 5 points.
The publicly available points on Australia immigration website are for 189 invites.
Hi Anil
If I got a tss 482 4 year visa in vic it will affect my existing eoi 189 and 190 vic
Thanks
What kind of affect are you talking about?
I meant that while i am in 482 i can not lodge pr application
You can file 189 or 190 if you are eligible. I do not see any issue.
Hi Anil
I recieved a job offer recently from Victoria for a year. My 482 visa process in on the move. It is expected to take 2 months time.
Meanwhile, I have aplied for EOI to Victoria in March’19 with 70+5 points. If ever I get to apply for PR from off shore and later go to Australia via 482 visa, I wonder if even after the 1 year job contract my PR visa does not get granted, will I be granted a bridging visa?
Or do I have to go back to my country as I raised the PR offshore?.
You can apply for bridging visa if your PR application is pending at that time. But, you need to have some other visa type to apply for.
Immigration officer can cross check anything to verify your claims.
Hi Anil,
You are such a great help in this forum. What about your predictions for Registered Nurse (critical care and emergency) with 75 points for visa 189?. I submitted my eoi last February with 65 points and updated it on June 29 with 75 points. I am married and let say, I wont be able to get an invite before November and point system changes, and there will be no additional points for my spouse, which means I will remain in 75 points. What are the chances of me getting an invitation? thank you so much in advance
What are the chances of receiving an invitation for the ANZSCO code (254414)- Registered Nurse (Community Health). I filed an EOI on 13th July, 2019 for QLD . Currently
189: 80 points
190: 85 points
what are my chances please?
Hi @chairechan
You have good chance of invite with 85 points. The timeframe cannot be estimated though.
