Reissue lost expired indian passport abroad

I have been applied for reissue of my indian passport in Portugal .My passport was expired before 7 years and it was lost.I applied for reissue with the help of passport copy.Since 3and half month status shows that passport application is under review in indian embassy/Consulate. What I should do?

Thanks but I am living in Portugal and I already sent 4 times email to indian embassy Portugal.they didn’t reply.
