Remove NSW eoi in order to increase my chances of invite by VIC?

I have an EOI for 190 VIC with 85+5 ss points with D.O.E as 05/01/2020 for job code-254415, (Registered Nurse). Also, I have an EOI for 190-NSW with the same points.

However, recently i got to know that I won’t be eligible for NSW since my job code as an additional criteria of being onshore and having 1 year onshore exp. Since, I’m an offshore applicant so won’t be meeting this additional criteria.

My friend mentioned that VIC is choosy and won’t invite a candidate who already has an additional EOI for another state. Is it true?

Do you advise that I remove this NSW eoi in order to increase my chances of being invited by VIC seeing my high points?

I am not aware of any such criteria where your chances will improve for VIC if you remove NSW EOI.
