I went for a cruise trip to Mexico in April 2024 after my h4 extension with a stamped USA visa
and my h4 EAD still pending.I got an RFE for my EAD for latest i 94 as my i 94 in online records still shows last valid date(expired now).I have already submitted my valid i94 attached to i797 approval notice.How can I get my i94 updated online?
I94 is usually updated online automatically when you enter through air, water or land port of entries.
When USCIS approves extension, they attach the paper i94 to the approved i797 form.
Your H4 i797 attached i94 is the proof of valid status.
As far as cruise is concerned, did they see your new H4 i797 attached i94 or the H4 visa stamp in passport?
Is your H4 visa stamp validity same as your H4 i797 attached i94?
Did you ever see any CBP officer on your return to US from cruise?
When I re entered USA through Tampa ,it was automatic process for entry .I didn’t see any CBP officer to show my current I797 approval form .My entry through Tampa got updated in travel records but my i94 still has old validity date(expired) as it was based on my last h4 validity date(till May 2024).My current h4 is valid from May2024 till May 2027.Do I need to travel out of country for new i 94?

They usually keep a copy of your visa/i797 at cruise check-in.
If they used your visa at that time, then, most probably they have updated your travel record with the old i94.

Hi ,I got my h4 stamping done based on my approved i797 till 2027 and then travelled back to USA and got my new i94 and submitted it with my EAD RFE response documents.
