I just made a tiny mistake a single letter towards the end of my FATHER’s middle name. Instead of having ‘VENKATA’, I have written ‘VENKAT’. My previous passport had ‘VENKATA’. Will that cause any issue for the renewal? Is there a way I can edit the name on Government Application form after VFS payment completion? If I submit a new application, the ARN number would be different and I was wondering how can that be linked with the payment that I already made to VFS global?

You cannot edit submitted application. You will have to fill another application with correct details.
Is it ok if we correct it manually and write the letter A?
