We filed for my H1b and my wife’s H4 & h4 EAD together in June 2025 (Premium processing). I got my H1b extension approval and my wife got her H4 approval (H4 EAD still in process) on June 30th, 2025 and she travelled to India for 2 weeks from July 11th to July 28th and her i94 got updated until Sep 2028 upon arrival.
Question: Do we just wait for H4 EAD approval with the existing H4 EAD application? Please suggest.

You can only wait for pending H4 EAD application.
I applied for H1B, H4, and H4 EAD together in premium. My H1B and H4 got approved around June 30th, but the H4 EAD is still pending.
In between, I had to travel outside the U.S. and came back on my valid H4 visa + new H4 approval notice (I-797). After re-entry, I got a new I-94 number.
Now I’m wondering:
Or should I just wait, and if USCIS needs it they’ll send me an RFE?
Do I need to update/interfile my pending H4 EAD with the new I-94?
Do I need to refile, or is my current application still good?

Your current H4 EAD application is good.
If i was in your place, I would send my H4 i94 as ‘interfile’ proactively.
