Travel to INDIA when my H-1B Amendment is in-progress?

Hello Everyone,

I have my H-1B Visa until 11/5/2027, the I-797A receipt is with previous client (I had my stamping on Feb 2025). I have recently joined an new project on Oct 2025 and my Employer filed for H-1B Amendment and It is in PROCESSING phase.

Can I travel to INDIA in this scenario? Please let me know.

In current situation, If I was in your place, I would not travel at all.

Could you please let me know If it creates and issue with I-94?

When you exit US, i94 is invalidated automatically.

A new i94 is issued whenever you re-enter.
