I applied for passport renewal in tatkal with Houston consulate on april 16th,PVR was done in India last wednesday passportseva website updated the status to passport printed and being forwarded to embassy/consulate, after that in VFS and passportseva website its showing under review ,Up on emailing them i received the below response.

Consulate has not received the new Passport yet. As soon as consulate receive the passport, will dispatch to VFS.

I have urgent travel coming up on may 2nd afternoon,They are not sharing any other update than this .
What is consulate here and where it is located? aren’t VFS and consulate located at same location?
with all above is it possible to receive passport before Friday? Is there any way i can go and collect the passport physically?
What are my chances of getting passport before friday .
Appreciate response on this .
