My H-4 extension application is pending with USCIS since last year and haven’t even received the bio-metric appointment yet. Will USCIS adjudicate the case without bio-metric now?

It should apply to all types of pending H4 if they have not received biometric appointment until May 17, 2021.

Thank you, also by your estimate by how many days do you think the processing time will come down by if biometrics were to be removed? Currently I think it averages from 8-11 months.

Thank you, just curious what are your thoughts on how the new cases from May 17th be adjudicated provided if the H1b primary application is approved and awaiting for H4 and H4-EAD extension to be made for. Please suggest.

I have the same situation filing my wife’s H4 extension recently, really concern about how long it’s gonna take because she will be unlawfully present for a year if it’s later than this Sept.

if h4 extension is submitted before the expiry, her stay is lawful until a decision is made.
