VFS damaged passport renewal filled online application as tatkaal but paid for normal

Hey everyone. I have filled out the online application form for the damaged passport with the type of application as ‘TATKAAL’ but while paying it didn’t allow me to select ‘TATKAAL’, so I selected normal and paid. Will there be any problem with my online application saying as ‘TATKAAL’ (I am surprised they allowed me to select the option that should have thrown an error). Any insights here would be much appreciated. Thanks.

All you can do now is wait for them to contact if it’s a issue. There’s a list of Category of applicants that are not eligible to apply under Tatkal Passport Scheme. It’s always advisable to follow it to avoid such issues.
