Hi need urgent help. Got this email from the indian consulate where i had my H1B interview in the month of feb and got it approved and came back to the USa. Now last week i got an email from indian consulate saying:
Dear Applicant,
Please be advised that your U.S. visa has been PRUDENTIALLY REVOKED by the U.S. Department of State on December 05, 2025, under section 221(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. This action is based on the fact that after visa issuance, information has come to light indicating that you may be inadmissible to the United States and ineligible for your visa. If you are still physically present in the United States at this time, the visa revocation will become effective upon your departure from the United States. If you are not physically present in the United States at this time, the visa revocation is effective on the date the visa was revoked.
The Bureau of Consular Affairs Visa Office has alerted the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement about the visa revocation.
As soon as you depart the United States, you must personally present your passport to the U.S. embassy or consulate which issued your visa so your visa can be physically cancelled.
My daughter , my h4 also got the same email. please advise what i am suppose to do. My visa is valid till aug 2027. My questions:
Do i need to leave the country asap or this notice comes in action whenever i leave the country
Will they inform my employer as well.
what shall i do now as i am here alone with my kids (h4 and younger one is citizen) and have my I140 approved.
Can i check my status any where.
Any help with be appreciated.
