Visa Refusal vs Visa cancelled question in Ds160

While filling DS160 there are two questions

  1. Has your U.S. Visa ever been cancelled or revoked?
  2. Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to
    the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the
    port of entry?

Now, my visa dropbox application was refused this year and after appearing in the inperson interview it got approved. So, based on this circumstance I think I should say NO to question 1 and say YES to second and provide details. Now, I was also reading this DS-160 - Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa Yes / No? - USA and it confused me since per this I should also say YES for 1st one here, which does not seem right since my visa was never cancelled or revoked after issuance. Any insights ?

Cancellation/revocation is post issuance. If that didn’t happen to you then go for No.
