Visa update from Mumbai counsulate

Hello sir
My brother had an interview for the US visa and he didn’t pass the interview and he received a white receipt of 221g but with no additional documents. We all gave the interview and have recived our visas but not my brother its for the green card .

The status says refused and it have been the same status for a year now . How long will it take to receive a reply from embassy

It seems that there is something related to security checks for your brother that they are processing in the background.

Otherwise, it doesn’t usually take that long.

Did they ever ask to submit last 15 year travel history for your brother?
