Right now the passport seva website has status as Passport has been handed over by the Embassy/Consulate to the OSP executive for further dispatch to the applicant. as per fedex tracking I will receive my new passport by tomorrow evening. But still no police verification has been initiated. My mom too has not received any call. Not sure if police verification will be initiated. What will be the last status update in the passport seva website ? Will it state something like process completed? Or should I just stop expecting that police verification will happen?
