Will ex-employer name change cause a problem with I-140?

Hello,

My ex-employer was acquired recently and is undergoing a name change which will be complete soon. I’m currently in the process of filing for I-140, AOS with my current employer but am using experience letters, employment verification letters from my ex-employer with its old name. Also, I have an old I-140 approved with my ex-employer. Will it cause any issues with my current I-140 or AOS applications? Please advise.

It should not cause any issue as far as I know. If USCIS has any concerns, they will ask via RFE and then you can respond accordingly.
