I am about to submit my passport for renewal. I see there’s an option to print the us address instead of my old indian address. I am inclined to get US address printed. However I’m in a rush and want the renewal to happen as soon as possible. In such a case, will it be better if use the same address that is on my current passport? I’m afraid changing the address may trigger a police verification and lengthen the renewal process.
we got our USA address printed on our renewd passport and there is no police verification.instead we got our address proof notarized as far as I remember.
there was no police verification mine was renewd in 2018.
