I know 80 is good but our issue is due to primary applicants age, the points will become 70 after oct 8 and then after nov 16 it will be 75only. So we were really hoping for NSW, donno why the agent didn’t bother to check the fact it’s not applicable to offshore folks
Hi @ViMen
I can understand your situation. Most of the agents are only interested in your money.
Once you have paid, they don’t usually care.
NSW is out of picture if you are outside Australia.
VIC has the 25 Lakh Indian money bank balance requirement.
So, 189 is probably the only option left unless you can get the VICs invite and can show money in your bank account.
Hello @Anil.Gupta
what would be chances now or after November for software engineer category with 80 points and EOI filed in July 1st week with skilled spouse and proficient English (7 each) and STEM education (Engineering bachelors) for both. Please share your thoughts.
Hi @altruist321
Chances are good now if the number of invites are increased in Sep draw and better after November as you will get extra 5 points.
sure @Anil.Gupta Thanks.
Hello Sir, I have applied for EOI on 06/04/2019 with 70/75 points for 261313 for 189/190 and it got updated to 75/80 points after spouse/partner skills were added for 189/90 subsequently and date of effect shows up as 10/07/2019 with 75/80 points… How soon can I expect an invite. I also have full scores in the English test as I read somewhere that might be a factor for 190
Hi @sharathcb5
NSW is out of reach for you if you applying from outside Australia.
You have good chance.of invite for Victoria.
189 invite chance will improve after November for you.
Hi Anil,
I have 70 pts for software engineer 261313 . As you have told that additional 10 points would be added for single applicants . So does this mean at 80 will have a good chance from nov 2019 onwards? My doe is March 11 2019
Thanks
Amith
Hi @Anil.Gupta
Thank you for the great assistance that you are doing to all of us through this forum.
I am currently working in NSW for the past 2 years. I filed my EOI in first week of July 2019 with 70 points. It will increase to 75 points on 27th Sept 2019 due to my work experience. I have applied for 190 VISA as well (points will increase to 80 after 27th Sept). My PTE score is 20.
After Nov’19, I will claim for my spouse competent english (5 points more). This will increase my score to 80 points for 189 and 85 points for 190. I cannot claim more since my spouse does not have a valid skills set.
I have 2 questions here :-
- What are my chances for getting 189 and 190 invites seeing this situation of mine?
- Do you suggest going for the VIC option is a better bet for me ?
Thanks in advance for this.
Hi @Amith_Naik
Yes, the 80 points will have good chance of invite after Nov 2019 for 261313.
Hi @Anil.Gupta
Request you to please help me out with my query as I am very worried.
Thanks in advance.
You will have good chance of invite from both state and 189 with 80 or 85 points.
Any idea why was AUGUST 2019 round was so bad?
Hi @Anil.Gupta
Thanks for that.
Any approximate month that you expect my invite to arrive by?
Hi Anil,
My partner and I have applied for Subclass 189 (Defacto) for job code 261313 (Software Developer) at 75 points on April 8, 2019. However we updated our EOI on Aug 2, 2019 at 80 points. When are we likely to get an invite? Please advise.
Cheers
The chances are low for an invite till Nov 2019. After Nov, you have good chance.
Hi Anil,
261313 - 80 points.
For the current round - August, 2019, 189 subclass invites were sent only for 85 points and above. Does this mean that for 80 points I cannot expect the invite even by Sep, 2019 round?
Please note - I have submitted my EOI for subclass 189 on 9th July 2019 with 80 points for 261313.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
Chances are low for an invite if the low number of invites are sent in September too.
Hi Anil,
Thanks for the response. Is there a fair chance to get before December,2019 atleast. I’m worried because I’ll be loosing 5 points by December as I’ll turn 33.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
@Meenu_Satish
We all have been stumped by allocation tactics, its near to impossible to predict what it’s going to be in the next few months. Hopefully, they have a change of heart in September round.
How do your points look post November round with the new rules ?
