I know its speculation but what are your thoughts?
I’ll have 85 after November changes for 261313.
Will that be good enough?

It seems that 85 will be new 75 after November changes.

But, 85 will have good chance of invite.

Apologies if this has been asked or answered in other forum-

I have applied for software engineering (261313) in August 2019 with 75 points for 189 visa and 80 points for 190 (VIC).

Can claim another 5 points for partner English post Nov changes in place and 5 points for Experience by Sept next year.

Just trying to understand if there’s any ray of hope for invite

Hi, I want to know which states offer nominations for 190 for Software Engineer. I’m outside Australia, have my skills approved and have Proficient English score. I can get 75 points if I apply for 189 visa type.

Victoria and NSW are two main states that invite 261313.

75 points have low chance of invite at this time.

For NSW(190) , I saw that we need 1-year work experience in NSW (261313) which I don’t have.

I am planning to apply for 189 with 75 points. I can upgrade to 80 points in Nov with spouse points. What are my chances of invite now or in Nov?

Hi Anil,
I’m having 80 points for 261313 for 189 visa. Updated my EOI on 9th July, 2019. Is there a fair chance to get an invite in November, 2019 with 80 points? Will the number of invites for 189 increase from 100 to thousands after November or will it remain the same? I already started the ACS process for my spouse. Still I’m not sure if we’ll receive the ACS result by November. That’s the reason I’m asking.

I’m new to this forum. I have applied for 189 (75 points) and 190 (Victoria with 80 points). Submitted in July but points got updated only this month - september.
I can fetch another 5 points from spouse english competency in November.
Checked the official website where it is mentioned about the financial resources requirement. It has mentioned as as 30,000 AUD for individual applicant but there is no mention of any evidences. Your thoughts please.

It will be great if you can tell me your thoughts on an tentative month when I can get an invite.

I do not know how much time VIC may take but you have good chance of invite with 80 points.
You will have good chance of invite after Nov 2019 with 80 points.

If the number of invites are increase from 100, then 80 pointers can expect to get invite before Nov too. I am expecting invites to be more starting Dec 2019 draw.

Victoria has a requirements of funds and you will need to show your certified bank statement.

I am looking forward to apply for Australia pr-189/190 , my job code is 26313 .when I calculated the points- it’s coming to 80 and after Nov if I get the spouse points for being skilled I will go up to 85 points for 189.If I submit my EOI in december, when can I expect an invite?

Hi Anil - I assumed it as an advisory than an evidence. But I’m not able to find something similar to “Financial Capacity Declaration” that is required for SA.

I can check to see if there is any other specific requirement for VIC with respect to funds.
