I submitted my documents on 22nd June and passport was submitted to embassy on 28th June. Has been under review since then. I had a relative check with the police in india and they said my name wasn’t on the list for police verification. I contacted vfs they told me to contact consulate but consulate hasnt gotten back to me yet (i emailed 2 weeks ago) Its been nearly 9 weeks and no updates. Did anyone else face the same? Please let me know how long it took for receiving new passport

@Khadija I am facing the same situation now, could you please let me know how long it took for you to receive the passport with normal passport renewal. Is there any process that you followed after the wait of 9 weeks?

This was 2 years ago so i dont remember exactly when but i received my passport sometime in September (3 months after applying). I just had to wait it out, honestly
