EAD approval time after expedite request approved by USCIS

Your expedite can be approved only if biometrics is either done or if they could use previous years biometrics right? Is there any expedite option for those whose biometrics is not done yet?

My EAD got approved on June 16th and got the approval notice yesterday. Still waiting for the card.

My expedited request approved on March 16th. After 45 days I followed up with tier2 officer. They were not sure Why it was not approved even after 45 days. So again they raised one expedited request it seems. Again after 45 I received the approval.

Did you receive the card? How many days it took after the approval?

Congratulations Preethu. happy for you …exact same experience .
But my wait time for approval was slightly shorter probably because of Senator Follow up. But I am waiting for the card now as want to start back with my employer they are waiting for me to send the scanned copy of the card .

Priya

Nope I dont think so .

We all who got expedite approved had Standalone EADs or already Biometrics completed .

@raj2020, did u receive your EAD card?
If so how long it took after approval?

@preethu09 or any one who got approval recently .

I got my H4 EAD approval notice I797 but the EAD Card has not been send by USICS through email yet its been a week post approval . Is it common ?
In past I received the card first in less than a week and approval notices use to follow later .

@Anil.Gupta

@priya, even my my case is approved on June 16th and got the approval notice . Still waiting for the card.

Did anyone received EAD card?

Nope still haven’t received the card yet . Only Approval notice .
How about you ?

@preethu09 any luck with EAD card ?

@preethu09 did you receive your card ?

My Senators office followed up with USICS today .

USICS has confirmed there is a delay in Production of cards from June .

But USICS has confirmed that we should receive within a month from the Production date of the card . So it can take up to 3 to 4 weeks to receive the card .

Thanks to Washington post to cover this important information .

Hi , My EAD was expired on 05/31/2020, I have already applied for my H4 and H4 EAD extension along with my spouse H1B. My spouse H1B was approved in premium .
We have recieved the ASC appointment to appear for the fingerprints on 03/30/2020.
Due to covid reason the offices were closed and i have enqired calling USCIS and came to know that USCIS is going to reschedule my appointment.

Can i Expedite my process? If yes please let me know the process.
What reason best fits the Expedition process?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi! I applied for my EAD renewal back in Oct 2019 (my current EAD expired in April 2020) and got the expedite request approved back in Oct 5th 2020, based on financial loss. It’s been more than a year, I’m current on a leave of absence since Oct 6Th and very worried about my job. Does anyone might have an idea of what’s going on or an estimate of how much longer until I receive my new EAD? Mine is at the National Benefit Center.

Thank you!
