I am unable to download shipping label from VFS and I have waited for 4 days. Submitted online query and no response yet. Did any face this issue?
yes it happen to me, I sent on Nov 16 and it was delivered on 17 th morning but I got received conformation email today.
I also posted the same question on friday and few people responded that they also faced the same issue.
please send an email or create a ticket to VFS.
ANNEXURE D is mandatory for Kid passport renewal. VFS accepted but consulate not processing this with out this. so, ensure it is notarized.

they didnât mention anything about how to send the missing documents so I mailed a physical copy. Itâs better to follow the instructions provided by VFS âŚmoreover, scanned copy/email can save you some $/time.
One notary covering letter for â4-documents notarizedâ is not accepted by the VFS. They are looking for each document with a notary stamp on it.
I posted the passport application on 11/16. They received it on 11/17. I have just received an email today (11/23) at 11am with missing documents to be submitted.

Question about About Self Sworn Affidavit:
They are not clear about the notary of the self sworn affidavit. I have been living in USA for 9-years, my address is no longer existing in India residence address. How to notarize the indian address? Is notarization required for Indian address affidavit? I donât think the Notary people will sign without my original Address proof details in India.
Any thoughts?

Unfortunately no communication from VFS still. But the ridiculous thing is - calling their customer care number it seems is chargeable at $2.48/min, this is nonsense! I donât understand this, no acknowledgement, broken website, expensive customer care! No update on the govt of India website too, this worries me

i already reached out them. i felt no use of calling them, they donât know the recent updates in their system they just go by status and their FAQâs have been provided them.
Woow. until last week, there wasnât even a contact number and it was so frustrating. Give at least 5 to 6 business days before you start checking your application status on VFS site. They will send an email first and then only tracking will work.

This is needed to submit for applying a re-issue of passport in-lieu of lost/damaged passport.
Received my passport today. Police verification was done yesterday. Officer has collected the ID proof documents and 2 neighbors aadhar idâs.
How the document to be notarized?
- Should the main document (for ex. I-797A visa copy) have a notary stamp on it?
OR - Can the covering letter have a notary stamp on it and the covering letter tells about the I-797A copy notarized? This way, for 4-notary documents: 4-covering letters with NOTARY stamp)and 4-main documents. It will make 8-documents. Is this fine?
What procedure did you follow? Appreciate your thoughts.
