Thank you. Yes, Yesterday UPS picked my package from VFS and will be delivered tomorrow.
It took exact 10 days for me from VFS receiving the application to getting the passport delivered to me. This is for Chicago. Lack of prompt communication is the frustrating part. Hope you get your PP soonâŚ

Anyone submitted their passport renewal through VFS Global with option to Split their name ? If so, can you please let me know what documents you provided as proof?
Also, probably a silly question, but while taking copies of the Passport pages, is it okay to take two pages in one single copy, not front and back, but just two pages on one single side.

Yes I got my daughterâs passport today. I sent it to Chicago office. I sent all the document to vfs on 14 November 2020 n today I got the passport. It was in normal process.

Once your FedEx packet got delivered, after how many days you received email from vfs tracking email.
Mine FedEx delivered date 11/24. Waiting for VFS tracking email.

Hey - Which VFS center is it? My application delivered to SF on 11/18 but still no Email from them. Also, yours reached just before thanksgiving and someone mentioned in the previous thread that VFS have a monday holiday so it could take few more days.

Same here. My application reached VFS SF on 11/19 but havenât received any email till now. However Iâm able to track the application today but unfortunately itâs âon holdâ for some documents and I havenât got email on that yet.
@anil_am22 - Hi Anil - need some urgent advice - My passport had my parents Middle name, while filling up the government application I did not enter the middle names. Consequently, VFS got back to me saying I need to send a notorized affidavit indicating the same.
Would you have a template indicating What details are required? Just clearly outline that Iâm renouncing my parents previous name i.e. First Name Middle Name and Last Name, and will assume their name as First Name and Last Name going forward?
Yes ⌠police sent us message to come this police station wid all documents like passport n aadhar card. I mentioned both address.
hmmm. Interesting. I assume yours is normal processing. I tried to check the status in the VFS portal but it says âInvalid Inputâ my guess they have not started processing the application. I have not notarized Annexure E so I am expecting they will notify me with a missing document. So, itâs a wait gameâŚ
