At the same time got the 2 different email updates from VFS.
Update1:

Please ensure you bring requisite document to collect your application. ICAC will not be handing over the passport - if requisite documents required for collection are not produced"
Update2:

I am not able to create a new profile on the VFS website and I also cannot add a new customer in the existing application. Has anyone faced this issue and how did they resolve it.
Did anyone go to the VFS San Francisco office for passport? how was the process.
Thanks Srini for the update. Even I got the police verification email but no SMS. Our residence in India is closed so need to figure out how to get the police verification done.

I got the same police verification email as well.
My status is still stuck at âYour application has been forwarded to the Embassyâ at VFS website and âPassport has been printed.â on govt website. Fingers crossed that they ship it and donât wait for verification which might take some time.
If you get the generic email about police verification, then no action is needed. They will contact you if you need to go to the police station with your aadhar card and picture. My recommendation is to wait couple days after that email and wait to see if the passport gets printed and dispatched.

@Duvvuri Yes, I was able to track using the tracking ID on the label that I had created. (I started tracking even before I received the email from VFS). In their generic email, VFS gave me a tracking ID that was incorrect, it was the application ref number.

My appearance and signature have also changed. Can I still use tatkal service?
Thank you! I got a notification this morning from VFS that it was shipped. For some reason my fedex tracking says it is pending estimated delivery. Probably they didnât pick the package from the VFS yet. I will wait till end of the day to see if something changes. Thanks, Again!

11/16 -> VFS received the missing docs
11/19 -> Received an ack that application has been forwarded to the embassy for decision making

Same here Anoop. i received an email asking for a notarized Annexure D though the checklist didnât have that requirement.
Got the acknowledgment for my application that was received by vfs on 11/13. They have asked for âincomplete docsâ because Annexure D was not notarized. The checklist didnât say it needs to be notarized.

i got Fedex notification that the docs were delivered on Monday. Itâs been almost 5 days now and no mail or updates of any kind from their end yet.
