Hi, I went to a couple of places to take color photocopy of passport and driving license but everyone said that they are not allowed to take color photocopies of those documents and only black and white is allowed. Is it okay to send black and white copies of passport and driving license as long as they are notarised?

The form specifically asks for color photocopies of certain documents so I donāt think black and white copies would be acceptable. You can always scan the documents and then print color copies if you are having trouble with stores not complying.
The issue of āinvalid inputsā with VFS tracking could be if you are putting vfs reference number for tracking which start with USA********* (atleast it does for me).
I just discovered, if you put the indian embassy ARN (**-**********) for tracking on VFS it will work. Took long for me to figure it out.

- Did you send the missing documents to the same address you initially sent the application?
- Did you sent any covering letter or just the email printout asking for missing documents?
- Do you need to send only using Fedex or USPS is accepted as well?

I tried both VFS and Govt. Application with/without dashes. didnāt worked either of them.
I even tried my DOB and my daughtersā DOB (Just in case VFS bug), nothing worked till now.

I got an update from VFS today (Missing doc delivered- 11/17):
Your Application has been āProcessedā at the ICAC and āIn Transitā to the Embassy for decision making.
Seems like VFS is taking 3-4 working days to process our missing doc and send to Embassy.
@Shreekanta_Pradhan They received the documents on 11/10 and the passport was printed on 11/17 and I received it today 11/20.
Based on the status, seems your passport is with embassy and they wonāt let you in or even entertain your question from the entrance door. Best you can do is, call PRAMIT helpline and leave an emotional message sounding your emergency. They will call you back for sure. Also, submit your situation using PRAMIT online form as well. Good luckā¦
Hello - thanks for sharing. Wondering if you can help me - I didnāt enter my Father and Motherās Middle name in the Gov application form, however my passport had their Middle name in it. Now VFS is asking for Sending passport copies my Father and Mother
- Does that mean I need to resubmit my application altogether as the passport details have their middle name, but my gov application form wonāt have it.
- Can I just send the Bio page of my parents ?

Mine reached on Monday 11/16 and no response from VFS yet.
Wait until you get email from VFS. Only then, the tracking will work.
@srini2013 - Got the 2 VFS emails as well as Fedex update that it was picked up on Friday evening. Infact it has reached my local Fedex distribution facility however wil be delivered on Monday as delivery instructions say - weekday delivery only :-(. Hoping that by Monday noon should have the passport in hand. The only thing open for me is police verificationā¦
