Photographs I sent, but they asked me to send recent once with photo requirements. And the remaining two Affidavits i didn’t sent as i thought its not required.
Has anyone tried to submit a new passport of re-issuance in the past 2 days. I keep getting the error " * This Passport Service category is not applicable as per the options selected by you. I am submitting the request as a Fresh Passport in the Passport Service. Irrespctive of the choices I am making on the form, I keep gettin the above error.
Hope to get this processing done soon. one of the folk got the police verification email, after the status changed to Passport printing. He asked his relative to reach out to police for verification and now he got his passport.
Wondering, if police verification is just a formality?

Any idea what documents are required if I am renewing my Passport and I gave my parent’s address in India? Do they have to show any documents for police verification?
I think the other is some kind of id , e.g like an Adhara card , pan card or Indian driving licence or any supporting document from government recognized institution.

vfs has requested a declaration letter on why there is difference why made changes in names of address. anyone had same issue please let me know

Mine was picked up by fedex on the same day. I think you are fine. It is just may be fedex guy didn’t pickup. If not today then Monday… you should be fine…
