Hello Anil -my passport status changed from āpassport printing initiatedā to āpassport has been printedā. Within half an hour of this change, the status changed to āpassort application is under review at Indian embassy/ consulateā
Do you know what that means. My police verification was fine a 8 days ago and itās been a month since I sent my application.
After Police verification in India couple of days back.
12/5 - I see my Passport Status has been changed to āPrint has been initiated for passport.ā
Should every applicant send a copy of birth certificate or school leaving certificate? Is it same as transfer certificate? In the checklist its in theāadditional miscellaneous forms as applicableā section. Is this madatory if we have no change in details
did you receive any update on your case? i wen to NY VFS office also they didnāt let me in and called many times customer care and no useā¦ 100ās of $ gone. i dont know what F* they doing.

I received below mentioned email on Dec 5th saying my daughterās passport is dispatched after police verification. However, there is no update in the fedex tracking, seems to be its not reached in fedex itself. VFS tracking says it is dispatched, Fedex tracking no updates on receiving the package on their end.
I have applied tatkal (they received my application on Nov 19th )and opted VFS fedex shipping and kept the return label in the application.
Any one have any clue what is happening here? I am worried what is happening with my daughterās passport. I have sent email to VFS helpline and waitingā¦

VFS GlobalIām in the same situation too. I got the email you mentioned on Dec 5th 11 AM. Fedex tracking is still not available. Let me know if you get any updatesā¦
There is no email confirmation from them rather after submitting my details to Indiaās Police station it was assumed that they will send that verification email directly to Consulate and after two/three days it will move to Passport Printing. I hope this helps.
Being in the middle of Black Friday and Christmas Holidays, logistics companies are overwhelmed with orders / back orders. I believe this will take few days or week to get it shorted.

My package is delivered to VFS but no conformation email from them. also I tried both links to track application status.
government link says- application submitted.
VFS link- Invalid inputs.
Package sent on Dec 3.
Package delivered on Dec 4.
today is Dec 8.
Can Any one help me to answer when we can get the tracking information or how can get to know the progress. or any other way?

Documents were received by Nov 30th and as of today the status is āinvalid inputā.
in the track application what number we are supposed to submit , VFS number or Gov ref number ? Can anyone please clarify.

Same here. Documents submitted and received by VFS on Nov 30. No Ack, nothing. Invalid inputs is what I see.
I mailed them using the āContact usā tab on their website and eventually called them as well, had to pay for the call though. Post the call I got an email confirmation from them. It took around 5 business days. Maybe, It could have taken longer if I hadnāt emailed or called them. Point being - keep following up.

Check with Gov Ref Number. But the status will get reflect in VFS site only when you got confirmation email from VFS that your application is reached and under process.
