Update on my Kid’s passport - SFO Consulate
12/3 - After Police verification in India done
12/5 - Passport Status “Print has been initiated for passport.”
12/10 - Status changed to “Passport is printed and will be delivered shortly.”
12/11 - Evening Status changed on VFS and received mails with status " Your application has been dispatched via courier"
FedEx will deliver Monday 12/14.

No, I have been trying everyday morning and evening to see if it goes through somehow.
Finally I was able to create a profile today. The only change from prior attempts is excluding the ISD code in the phone number column and just entering the 10-digit phone number. I am not sure if that made the difference or it’s just sheer luck.
Applied for passport renewal in normal processing. My application reached VFS on November 17th. According to VFS tracker, my application was forwarded to NY embassy on December 1st. But when I check the govt website it still shows passport application form is submitted only. Raised Pramit requests but the embassy folks are saying they haven’t received the application yet. When I checked with VFS last week, they said it’s already forwarded to embassy. Has anyone seen similar scenarios? Appreciate any updates.
Can you please post the time line. I was able to see on VFS that My daughters passport was sent to embassy on Dec 12th. Do you have anyone how many days it took for them to approve the new passport ? I have an emergency travel plan on 17th. Can anyone suggest what can be done from my end.
I have applied at SFO consulate and Tatkal for processing.
I applied to NYC Consulate on Nov 9th and my case is pending from long time. I have sent several emails, raised PRAMIT helpline requests and voice messages but there was no response till now.
Tried the following modes of communication and no response.

Hello, I have 2 queries since you received your passport. Has your police verification taken place or you just got the email.
Also, the old passport has a line “OLD Passport CLD and Returned”. The same line is missing from New Passport.
Finally … we received the passport !!
Here are the timelines for NYC Consulate , Tatkal Application
11/21 - Application sent via Fedex to NYC
11/23- Fedex delivered the application at the NY address
12/3 - Confirmation from VFS - Under Process at ICAC
12/7 - Sent to Embassy
12/9 - Passport Printed
12/11 - Dispatched via courier
12/15 - Received passport via Fedex
Note:
1)Thank you very much to this thread to resolve the VFS Courier Label issue. We were able to proceed with a shortened First name 
The name on the VFS label need not exactly match with the one in Govt Application form.
2) Annexure E - We did not submit a notarized copy
3) Police Verification - Since this was Tatkal, passport was delivered, however police verification process in India is ongoing.

Police verification happened (even though in my case, there was no address change). Regarding “OLD Passport CLD and Returned” exactly where this line is expected?
Thanks for posting the timeline. I checked this forum and I read the first good review of being successful with NYC consulate.
It is mentioned on address page next to file number of old passport.

I wanted to understand one thing: is there anyway to track when they courier back the new passport to me? I received an email saying VFS has couriered me, but I don’t see any updates on when try using the FedEx tracking number (chose VFS courier service).
