Yes I also observed the same . I received email from VFS that they couriered the package but Fedex courier was not picked so status didnt change. But next day it was picked and I was able to track it using Fedex tracking number.
I have created Re-Issue of passport application in ā https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/ā on March 12th 2020. Got a ARN Number. But I never submitted this application to CKGS.
So can I use this ARN number in VFS global website application or Do I need to create fresh application in https://portal4.passport India.gov.in as it is 6 months old ? Please help.
I remember seeing on govt online portal that the application remains for 90 days . So I believe you need to do another one . You can check to confirm
I can see the application is available on https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/ site. and able to print the application.
The date at the end of form will probably be that of March - Check that first and then confirm with VFS/ consulate if that is acceptable
any update on your passport? i have been waiting for 4 days VFS not yet dispatched passport.
@thanmayisri my son passport was handed over to VFS on Tuesday. Didnāt get an acknowledgement yet from VFS. Due to the weather, they probably are closed yesterday and today. hopefully i hear from them on Friday or Monday. Did you get a notification from VFS that they collected the passport? or the status still says with embassy?

my kid passport collected on friday 12/11 and i got update from 12/12 from VFS it will be dispatched in 24hrs. still no update on the courier dispatchā¦
I was also in same category earlier. created profile in https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/ā in October and thinking to use same while submitting in Nov. But found that there are few changes in the govt form. So created new one. So IMHO, you need to create new application. But you can confirm from VFS.

Hi @thanmayisri - I received a notification in the afternoon that āYour document is dispatched via courierā. However, unable to track the FedEx label yet. Probably it is not picked yet by FedEx. Did you not receive a notification about delivery? I received it only after a few hours after the status on VFS tracking changed. Thanks!
Hi Chaitanya, any update in your case, my status is āPrint has been initiated for the passportā from 13th Dec onwards. There is no change at all
mine is UPS label. not sure if that is causing for any delay. i didnt get any update yet.
@thanmayisri - I am sure all the pickups have been impacted. Probably it is already shipped and just that UPS may not have picked itā¦ Try using the tracking number of UPS starting Monday. My Fedex package is not picked yet. so i am hoping fedex will pick up Monday.

Unfortunately, not yet. It still shows āBeing processed at the consulateā. I tried emailing them as well. They just donāt respond.
I checked my ups tracking no status there is no updateā¦ vfs site still says they received my application from embassy ā¦ I got notification email on 12/12 they received and will dispatch passport in 24 hoursā¦ their portals are not in sync and up to date. some how the automated update messages are relevant ā¦ Iām not getting that tooā¦
I sent ups labels due fedex labels issueā¦ not sure why 1 week they are taking simply dispatchā¦
