Update: I received an email from passport.admin@passportindia.gov.in last night (11/18) for police verification request and the status today (11/18) changed to below. Anyone knows what OSP stands for?

You were correct. Just received similar email. @ani_ach @Venkata_Dhanush_Redd, your documents were received on 11/13, so you should receive such email by tomorrow most.

Outsourced service provider is my best guess. Sounds like it has been printed and they are handing it to VFS for delivery.

Any way to track application status at VFS site? Keeps returning ā€˜invalid inputsā€™ message, and no replies for emails too

@h_v they received my documents on 11/11 and I received an email on 11/12 and 11/16. I feel like the status update on the Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates side is more reliable and faster than tracking it on VFS site.

I see package has reached them yesterday itself but I never received any email for that. I am a bit worried, and no updates in govt PP website either (just that appl. has been submitted)

If you have submitted at NYC center, it will easily take 5 to 6 business days to get the confirmation email. And you will not be able to track it on VFS site until you get this confirmation email. So hang tight and give at least 5 business days.

I sent documents on 16th, checked fedex text on 17th stating that VFS received it on 17th. However, no text or email from VFS yet. Waiting patiently

Hi, Iā€™m going to use VFS provided shipping. What is the address that we should ship to for Atlanta Consulate? Considering how crappy this experience is, I wanted to verify that the Fedex downloaded label address is correct.

Hi

You have only one option
Fill the details correctly as it is in your passport.
And opt for your own courier other than USPS AND FEDEX then it will work.

I received email from VFS

We are awaiting the following documents

1.NOTARY
2.Annexure E
I already sent Annexure E, do we need Notary for annexure E? It didnā€™t mention in document check list .Anybody received same email?

I already sent Notary for I797,Driving License and Change Of appearance document, Not sure what Notary still they need.

Consulate: SFO Passport renewal (No TATKAL)
11/10 1:41 PM - Passport renewal packet delivered to VFS
11/11 1PM - Email from VFS asking for ā€œSelf-sworn affidavit for Indian address is missingā€
11/17 9.50 AM - Self-sworn affidavit delivered to VFS
Itā€™s more than 24 hours, no response from VFS. Status shows " You application is under process at the VFS Centre"

Any one in same boat? How long does it take to respond from VFS regarding missing document submission?

I sent the missing document and SFO received it on monday 11/16 by joyce.but havent heard anything from SFO.
Status shows You application is under process at the VFS Centreā€¦ Not sure when is the next stage
